Kamela is an intuitive caring and competent healer. I am in my mid 40s and saw Kamela for Reiki for arthritis in my hip. I was in a lot of pain and losing my ability to stand or sit for more than 20 minutes at a time. I was also losing my range of motion and could not exercise. This, of course, led to weight gain, which put even more pressure and pain on my hip. I saw Kamela for Reiki and a physical therapist at the same time. Kamela was able to hone in on the source of pain in my hip. I used that information to bring to the physical therapist, who was able to give me specific exercises for that area in my hip. It was the perfect drug-free combination of therapies. The Reiki went right to the source of the pain and soothed it, and the physical therapy exercised helped me to get my range of motion back. Now my pain is minimal and I can walk and exercise again. The results are phenomenal and I feel like my old self again. I always leave my sessions feeling lighter and uplifted.

My daughters (now high school students) have seen Kamela for Reiki treatments since they were 5 and 3 years old. Kamela has a gift for healing and a huge heart for working with children. One of my children did not sleep well and had anxiety during the night. She was adopted from an orphanage and spent nearly the first year of her life in horrendous conditions. For years she suffered from night terrors as a result of neglect in infancy. Kamela was able to do Reiki both in person and remotely to help my daughter to not only fall asleep, but to find comfort and peace in sleeping. The lack of sleep was carrying on into her daily life, and nearly every life situation made her anxious. Now that she can properly rest, the night terrors and anxiety are gone—replaced with a joyful child who is doing great with friends and at school. Kamela also taught my daughter techniques so that she could sooth herself when she became anxious during the night. I absolutely love Reiki for children. It is so comforting and non-invasive. It is the perfect modality for helping to heal kids, for both emotional and physical needs. Kamela has a gift of making children feel comfortable and accepted, which opens the child up to healing. My kids are never nervous or hesitant to have Reiki treatments. They love seeing Kamela.

I feel very fortunate to have used Kamela’s services on several occasions. As a new mom, I was dealing with many feelings common to postpartum depression, not to mention that I had high blood pressure. Doctors had prescribed several different medications, however I was not comfortable taking them while I was nursing. I had several sessions with Kamela, in which she did Reiki and Reflexology. I could feel her calming energy flowing through my body; a feeling that I cannot begin to describe. She also recommended homeopathic remedies that could help sustain that feeling of peace. Through her work, I can happily say that I no longer had to take my blood pressure medication and could nurse and care for my new baby.
Another life changing experience that I had with Kamela was when my son had open-heart surgery at six weeks old. I seldom feel the urge or desire to share my personal experiences in a public forum. But today is the exception. Kamela has been treating me for a lower back and hip injury that I received from a fall. I am grateful to share that her treatment and advice has supported my healing and recovery. Pendulum Workshop – Khaya Davidson, Support Group Leader
Kamela recently gave a very professional presentation at my support group on how to use a pendulum for self-testing. She had prepared a detailed handout on the subject, tailored to our special needs, which she distributed to everyone present. She also brought a selection of her beautiful hand-crafted pendulums, which she let us practice with. Her delivery was easy to follow and understand, and informal enough to be very enjoyable. I was very impressed with how well prepared and organized she was, and also how beautiful and unusual her pendulums are (and also quite reasonably priced). Although I have been using a pendulum for several years, I learned several new ideas from Kamela. I don’t believe anyone else who was there that night was very familiar with the concept, but they received an excellent introduction to it. Kamela has learned from several teachers, and has studied and practiced for several years. She appears to me to be a very experienced and capable teacher.

I especially appreciated that Kamela did not make too-good-to-be-true claims about self-testing being the answer to all our problems. She pointed out that it is not always 100% accurate, but can be a useful way to help with small daily decisions and also can help formulate questions for your doctor. It appears to me that Kamela has a lot of common sense and some very practical knowledge to share.
